Weller Four

PAUL WELLER
PEACOCK SUIT

During the hazy days of the Brit Pop era, Weller was hailed as an icon at this point by the current bands of the day and was even making records with Noel Gallagher. This was during his Changing Man and the Stanley Road album era the previous year. But in 1996 the man came out with Peacock Suit which was a Mid tempo rock track that hinted at a Blues style, but had all the extra toughness included.

Taken from his forthcoming Heavy Soul album the following year the single once again put Weller firmly in place as a legend of British rock music. He had already been crowned the Mod Father, but here this track gave him another edge that was to be added to his musical tapestry.
